Peter, You were been such a big part of my life in Theatre and helping make Theatre my life. You will be missed. But your legacy will not be forgotten. I will always be 'Director proof' and will never forget 'Mirboo North'. You will always hold a special place everytime I take the stage. As I open a new production this week I will take you with me, as always.

Dear Peter,
The gloom of the sky and the gloom of the sea hang brooding over all... all... all. You will be missed.

Here's to Pete we love - a brilliant, complex and genial man, artist and polymath, pal and leader. What a privilege to work with him, to watch the care with which he directed, designed, taught and inspired. His theatre-children all over the world know so much more about performance because of him - and love it more too! Standing ovation for that life of yours, my friend.
