I was looking up old friends from high school, when I stumbled upon this obituary. I was shocked to learn of Phils passing. He was an awesome guy and a good friend in high school. My condolences to his family. I found this picture from our 10 year reunion. I'm the one on the right. So sad he is gone.

Sue and Mike, I was so very sorry to hear about Phil's sudden passing, and at such a young age. Because of the special connection between the Burleys and the Biscotts, living around the corner from each other for many years in Lachine, and even on holiday at Trout Lake a couple of times, our family has known Phil since his arrival on this earth. Unfortunately, I didn't know Phil as an adult, but from the comments I read here, it is clear that he was a good soul, and will be missed by all who were privileged to call him brother, uncle, or special friend. Please accept my affectionate sympathies at this very difficult time.

Phil was and always will be a member of the Trout Lake Village 'family' in the Bolton Landing area of NYS, where our youthful summers were magical and our friendships endured as adults. So many great memories to hold on to! Phil was quiet, kind, thoughtful, fun-loving, witty and when he smiled you had to join him. He'll be in my heart, and my deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones. Love endures all.

I have so many memories growing up of visiting Uncle Phil in Ontario and honestly, just having a complete blast. Our family visits with him helped shape my childhood, and I always loved going to see him, spending time with him at Christmas, visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake together, and hanging out with him and his dog Robbie, among a million other things. Uncle Phil left us way too soon, and he'll be very, very missed.

The Boss, Kojaks, Skiing in Killington, road trips to Atlantic City, Buffalo, Detroit, where Phil won $600.00 at the casino playing a Korean card game he did not even know the rules of.
loved talking sports, music, travel and food with you.
Always ready to help out, would give you the shirt off his back, always had time for his friends,
Phil, you will be missed!!!!

Phil was a part of the family, uncle to Simone & Harris, dear friend to Leea & Patrick. We have so many wonderful memories of Phil, celebrating holidays, vacationing together, watching the Jays, cooking and eating. He was a kind and generous soul, an angel among us here on earth and will make heaven an even more special place. We love you Phil and will miss you dearly! Leea, Patrick, Simone & Harris
