Joy and family, I am deeply saddened to hear of Phil's passing. He was a dear friend to me in college, so much so, that he was one of my groomsmen in my wedding in 1991. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with your family and that Phil will be deeply missed by all of the folks like me that his life touched.

So very sorry to hear of Phil's passing. We were good friends as teenagers and were in Boy Scouts together and had great times camping, and just hanging out. Praying for comfort for all of the family. God bless you all.

Phil was a beacon of light in an otherwise rough industry. I could always count on his encouraging words. His Bible was never far from him, on his desk or his drawing table. A man well respected and admired for his walk with the Lord. My sincerest condolences for your loss.

Terrible, terrible news. Phil was always good for not just a smile, but at least a chuckle every morning in home room. He was quick to laugh, even when we had to keep it quiet. He was good at football, amusing at lunch, and will surely be missed. Best wishes to Mrs. Gattis, Megan, Krista, John Robert and everybody who's sad about Phil.

Never thought we'd see this day so soon. I'm reflecting on all the fun and challenges we had in high school and shortly thereafter. Sorry we didn't keep in touch better over the years but, we can address that when I get there. Sit back, relax and enjoy paradise. We'll see you again eventually. Deepest sympathies and prayers to your family.

Joy,
Phil was a remarkable man and I will miss our talks, vents and laughs. He was always there to help if he could (even when he couldn't, he would still help). Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you guys and you will remain in my thoughts and prayers. He always said I was his favorite Catholic! HA HA. Sincerely, Henry Aden
