PHILIP ROTHMAN, age 86, of Port St. Lucie, Florida died on February 6, 2009 at the Gerstenberg Hospice of Palm Beach County. Mr. Rothman was born on January 12, 1923 in New York City to Joseph and Rose Rothman. He came to this area in 1994 from Woodbridge, NJ. Mr. Rothman was a jewelry manufacturer in New York for many years. He was a proud, decorated US Air Force Veteran who served in the European Theater. Mr. Rothman was of Jewish faith and was also a member of the Jewish War Veterans #740. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mildred (Fuchs) Rothman of Port St. Lucie, FL, three sons; Jeffrey (Elise) Rothman of Manalapan, NJ, Glenn (Mari) Rothman of Beacon, NY and Keith (Rachel) Rothman of Tinton Falls, NJ. Also surviving are five grandchildren, 1 brother Harold Rothman of Hutchinson Island, FL and 1 sister Lucy Isaacs of Long Island, NY. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 9, 2009 at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL 34990. Arrangements are entrusted to Forest Hills Palm City Chapel. A guest registry may be signed at www.foresthillspalmcityfflorida.com
