Il était le fils de feu M. Émile Boivin et de feu Mme Angéline Giguère. Il laisse dans le deuil outre son épouse Mme Monique Bouchard; ses enfants : Richard Boivin, Gilles (Sylvie Damphousse), Nathalie (Jean-Marc Tardif); ses petits-enfants : Marianne (Charles-Étienne Guimond), Ève-Julie, Rosalie; ses frères et sœurs : feu Armand Boivin (feu Thérèse Maranda), feu Paul (feu Laurette Gagnon), Rita (feu Omer Martineau), feu Henri (feu Rita Blouin), Noëlla (feu Maurice Martineau), feu Jacqueline, feu Anita (Claude Plante), Lucie (feu Émile Blouin), Olivette (feu Jean-Paul Renaud), Ghislaine (Jean-Guy Côté), Sœur Émilienne P.F.M.; ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs : Gabrielle Hovington (feu Thomas-Eugène Blackburn), feu Lucienne Hovington ( feu Raymond Belley), feu Florence Bouchard (Robert Bilodeau), feu Rosanne, feu Marthe (Marcel Imbeau), Nicole (Denis Leclerc), feu Guy (Rita Corneau) ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces, parents et amis. La famille tient à remercier le personnel de la Résidence Mgr Victor Tremblay pour les bons soins prodigués. Pour ceux et celles qui le désirent, une personne bénévole de la Fondation des maladies du cœur du Québec sera présente au salon afin de recueillir vos dons. Pour rendre hommage à M.
