Well it has been a year now since you've grabbed that Road King above and began that endless ride in perpetual peace. Brother, there isn't a day that goes by that at some point I don't think of you! You are the best friend and brother i could have ever asked for or wanted! One day we will once again join forces and create the fun and humor we so loved too create, we will once again be able to take care of those we care about! I love and miss you brother!

So shocked to hear about his death. He was my Division Officer on the Truman, and flew out on his own dime to Jacksonville to speak at my Retirement Ceremony. He graciously invited me and a friend down to his house while I was on travel to Oklahoma. He will be sorely missed.

I served with Phil in VF102 during our six pack/iron man cruise. He was indeed a good man. Always knew what to say just at the right moment to say it. Even when morale was down, he was able to cheer. Helluva man. Fairwinds and following seas brother, until we meet again.

I was just a young E-2. Didn't know much about navy life yet. But you were always there to straighten me out and make sure I was on the right path. You were a prime example of what a good role model looks like. Thank you for teaching me and showing me how to survive. You will be missed.

One of the few great Navy leaders. Even though we were deployed over the holidays on the USS Harry S Truman you made it great cruise and not miss home so much. Your pride and professionalism set the example, but it was not beneath you to dress up as Santa and give out gifts from you and your family. So sir, I raise a glass and a cigar- Fair winds and following seas-AT1(AW) ret
