Gil and I saw Phil pretty regularly. Shared thoughts on Star Wars at the local watering hole and what our next tattoo projects would be. I liked him. He was genuine. I remember him dragging around doggie everywhere he went when he was little and that smile that would melt your heart or make you think he was up to something, or a weird combination of both. The suddenness makes this so surreal. Our deepest sympathies, he was one of a kind.
