Phillippe TWEEDIE Obituary
December 18, 1977 - January 2, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Phil P. Tweedie, age 39, at home after a brief illness. Much loved son of Lise Boivin (Frank Magliocco) and Ralph Tweedie (Elaine Emond). He was loved and will be greatly missed by his two stepsisters: Amanda Campbell and Jodi Castelli; his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The celebration of life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L'OUTAOUAIS, 95, Cité- des-Jeunes Blvd, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Monday January 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive condolences at 1:30 p.m. For those who wish to do so, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Gil and I saw Phil pretty regularly. Shared thoughts on Star Wars at the local watering hole and what our next tattoo projects would be. I liked him. He was genuine. I remember him dragging around doggie everywhere he went when he was little and that smile that would melt your heart or make you think he was up to something, or a weird combination of both. The suddenness makes this so surreal. Our deepest sympathies, he was one of a kind.
