Phyllis Anne Del Signore

Phyllis Anne (Carroll) Del Signore passed from this earth on December 28, 2022. She was born in McKeesport, PA in 1933. After marrying Anthony Del Signore, the couple moved to North Huntingdon where they raised their five children, until she moved to Naperville, Illinois where she was in proximity of one of her daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony and is survived by her 5 children - Diane (Scott Strait) Del Signore, Carol (Zeke) Lopez, Linda (Alex) DeGurian, Stephen (Rina Ong) Del Signore, and Marc (Susan Lilly) Del Signore. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Phyllis lived a more than ordinary life - she had cerebral hemorrhage in her late 20's that paralyzed the left side of her body. Despite that, she led a full and active life, as a dedicated volunteer with countless hours spent working for the Westmoreland Girl Scouts (her family nickname was "Scout"), PTA, youth sports, and band booster clubs. She was a top-level bridge player. Phyllis's main passion was her family and the close relationship that she had with a large group of friends and relatives. Phyllis had recently moved to Southern California and enjoyed one last Christmas with a large contingent of her family. She was greatly loved by her family and those who knew her and will be greatly missed. A memorial mass will be held at the St. Agnes Church in North Huntingdon on Saturday May 6, 2023. The family welcomes donations to Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania, as an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers.
