We are so sorry to hear about Mama Jones, and our prayers are holding all of you so close to our hearts right now. Words can't express the loss you all are feeling of such an irreplaceable woman, who loved each and every one of you unconditionally. I have so many fond memories of Mama Jones, that I will forever hold in my heart and continue to always cherish. From her visiting on Friday nights at Chili's while we were working or stopping by the apartment to drop off Rice Krispy Treats or her Sweet and Sour Pineapple Chicken, or one of Isabella's birthday parties at her house in her first few years or having her call me out of the blue to check on me and see how I am doing.... she was a remarkable, beautiful woman, and we all loved her dearly (as I definitely considered her my 2nd mother for many, many years). I am struggling to find the right words right now, but I want you to know that I care so much about all of you, and I am extending my warmest energy, positive thoughts, love, biggest hugs and so many prayers to each of you. Mama Jones made an impact on all of us, and I believe there is a piece of her in us. She will always be remembered, as I have seen many of her greatest qualities in each of you. Please accept my deepest sympathy and with love and remembrance, we share in your sorrow.

Phyllis was one of my students at Roane State and I am so sorry to hear she has passed. She always had a kind word and smile for all. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. May she fly high with the angels.
