Dear Luuk and family,

Although, at such a time as this,
There's little one can do,
We hope it helps in some small way
To know we think of you.

It's difficult to find the words
That say just what we feel;
And yet we hope that somehow
This message will reveal
How much our thoughts are with you
As you face the days ahead;
And love will be the echo of
The words w've left unsaid.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and God will give you the strength to carry on.

Love from John, Julie and family.

Dear Luuk en family,
At first we want to express our compliments on the warm and kind letter from Peter as it reached us by e-mail, and also the very nice picture of us youngsters on the Seminary Hageveldt. Although we have given our condolences already in a letter to you, we want to express our sorrow in this way, with the loss of such a very dear fiend. We wish you all very much strength for the coming time. God be with you all.
With loving greetings from Harry and Riet de Jong

John & I wish you the best in the upcoming days. As the memories start to flow and the pain diminishes. A smile will slowly replace the tears. As you greet each new day fond memories will start to appear. Treasure those moments in time. May god bless and keep you all. We are thinking of you. Love John & Claudia

We will remember Peter as being such a kind gentleman, a man of integrity with a wonderful sense of humour and a zest for life. Wherever there was Peter, there was laughter. Our thoughts are with you all on losing this wonderful man.

To the d'Haene Family
Losing someone you love is never easy to accept, and sometimes it must seem as if the pain is almost too much to bear. But I believe that your love will outlast the pain of the grief you're feeling. I believe that you have a place deep in your heart where treasured memories will always live. (Sheila) one day those memories will be a tremendous comfort to you. Until the day when you can smile again, I hope it helps to know how sorry I am and how much I really care.

I am saddened by the passing of my Opa, I fondly remember the many moments we shared together, and the wonderful impact thoes times have had on me. I am greatfull the Lord took him quickly while he was still able to be at home with Oma. As my Opa's journey begins with the Lord, My Oma must walk the rest of her journey here without her best friend and partner, my heart and prayers are with you Oma.May God give you the strength and hope you need to heal and carry on. I love you.

I was blessed with the "best Papa" in the world and have countless memories of fun and laughter with him.Going with him to his choir practices as a girl, and the way he always encouraged us to sing. We never needed a radio in the car when we were young he always kept us singing. Taking hikes in the mountains was always something, I'm sure we sang so loud it kept away all the wildlife not just the bears as Papa suggested!!My Papa was the kindest man and those who knew him could tell you that! You know what, I hardly ever heard the word "no" from him if I asked something of him, he was just always there wanting to help, and just taking pleasure with helping others.He was so patient, and if he ever got frustrated he would just make the sign of the cross in the air and walk away. The one thing I will always miss the most and it's the simplest of my Papa and that is ever since I can remember when Papa tucked me into bed at night when I was small up until the last time I saw him, when I said "bye Pup" he would say "bye Popje" and make the sign of the cross on my forhead. I will miss my Papa till the day we meet again. I Love you Pup!!!

I have been honoured during the past fifteen years to know Pierre, a gallant fighter in the Dutch resistance during the Second World War. I should have liked to have heard more about his experiences. We shall always remember the valiant ones.

We are so saddened by the loss of Uncle Pierre. He truly was my second 'Dad' growing up with my best pal Monique. He shared our love of music with us and continually encouraged us
to sing, sing, louder girls, sing!........and we did!!!
He will be sadly missed.
