Millville - Pilar B. (Bustillos) Haley, age 91 of Millville, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at home. Her health had been in a slow decline for the past few months.

Pilar was born in Midland, TX, and she grew up in Alpine, TX before moving to the East Coast in 1958. She settled in Millville in 1965.

For 29 years, Pilar worked as a factory worker for Model Blouse Co. in Millville and retired. For the next 25 years, she worked as a Custodian for the Millville Board of Education at Silver Run School and retired again.

Pilar loved spending her Friday nights with her dear friend Doris Pettit. A few of their favorite pastimes were visiting K-Mart for their blue light specials, and strolling along the stores on High Street, with Belzer's Bakery being a favorite. But most of all, Pilar absolutely adored her grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 48 years Paul H. Haley; her children, Eva Sooy of Millville, Connie Sparks (George) of Vineland, Hiram C. Sparks of Millville, and Judy Nolde (Bill) of Cedarville; six grandchildren, Stephani, Krista and fiancé Paul, Danielle (Charles), Dane, Karlie, Lyndsey; eight great grandchildren, Kyle (MiKayla), Marissa, Kendall, Michael, Charmaine, Charlene, Christopher and Christian; and two great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son in law, Harry Sooy.

A Memorial Service will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Christy Funeral Home, Millville.
