Preben Hansen Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 12, 2023.
The great Norseman has passed away and gone to Valhalla, meeting up with his son Sean who passed away in 2022. Preben was born in Denmark where he trained as a chef and worked in many places in Canada. Preben was an avid fisherman, owned a charter boat for years, and was a long time member of Straight Line Anglers. Leaving behind to miss him dearly is his wife Anne of 59 years together, daughter Shannon, grandkids Heather, Deven and great-grandson Kaeden. He will also be missed by his dear sister-in-law Nettie and family, Preben's mother Gundren at 102 years old, brothers Kurt, Gunner and Knud and family in B.C.

Thanks to many good friends for support, and also to Doctor Berg, the VON, PSWs and to the staff at St.Peter's.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Preben's well lived life will take place at a later date.
