Graveside services for Preston Buckner, 65, of Manchaca, Texas, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, at Taylor Cemetery, Gallatin, with Jim Thompson officiating.Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.Mr. Buckner passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, in Manchaca, Texas.He was born Aug. 4, 1944, in Jacksonville, Texas, to Norman Preston Buckner Sr. and Mable Eldena Hardy Buckner.He is preceded in death by his father Norman Preston Buckner Sr. and mother Eldena Buckner Knox, and grandparents William and Ina Hardy.Survivors include brother Gary Ronald Buckner of Houston; nephew Clay Buckner of Houston; niece Stacey Buckner of Houston; uncle and aunt Buddy and Billie Hardy of Rusk; and numerous cousins.There will be no visitation.
