Priscilla Eve Case

Priscilla Eve Case, 55, of Williamsburg, passed away on January 17, 2010 after a 13-year battle with breast cancer. She was born on August 9, 1954 in Mt. Kisco, NY to Peter and Genevieve Geer, and grew up in Rye, NY. Priscilla graduated from Vassar College with a Bachelor’s degree in French, and received her MBA from Columbia University Business School in NY. She had a very distinguished career in Corporate Human Resources and Higher Education Administration. She served as Director of Career Services at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College before working for several years managing Partner Development programs for Deloitte & Touche, and as Deputy Director of Undergraduate Career Services at Yale University. Most recently, she served as Director of MBA Admissions for the College of William & Mary, Mason School of Business until she resigned on January 4, 2010. Priscilla loved choral singing and was a member of the Williamsburg Choral Guild, the Handel Society of Dartmouth College, and the NY Choral Society of NYC. In addition, she sang with the Newtown Choral Society, the New Haven Chorale, and the Mad River Chorale. She was also an accomplished pianist, avid gardener, and world traveler. She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Case; parents, Peter and Genevieve Geer of Hilton Head, SC; sister, Dominique Geer of Hilton Head, SC; brothers, Christopher Geer of Raymond, ME, and Timothy Geer of Geneva, Switzerland; six nieces; and two cats, Emma and Figaro, who loved her very much. Priscilla will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg, VA. A reception will follow at the Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary.
