Quentin Moses Obituary
Moses was an offensive lineman for the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2004 and 2005 seasons under Coach Mark Richt and a standout high school player at Cedar Shoals High School in Athens. After college, Moses played several seasons for the NFL's Miami Dolphins.
He was also an assistant football coach at Reinhardt University.
Moses was serving his fifth season with Reinhardt as a defensive line coach. Reinhardt is an NAIA school located in Waleska, north of Atlanta.
A Reinhardt University campus vigil is planned for Tuesday.

To the Family of Quentin, Andria and Jasmine:
My heart is very heavy knowing that you are mourning the death of your love ones. My love goes out to all of the family members. I didn't know Andria and Jasmine but part of Quentin's family is my family. I grew up around them but time passes and you move away and you don't see your family as much as you would like to. There is nothing that can separate love for your family. I want you to know that no matter what you are going through, God knows better than anyone what you are experiencing right now. According to the Bible at 2nd Corinthians 1:3, 4 God is the God of all comfort, and he comforts us in all of our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from him. You can be assured that you will have the opportunity to see your love ones again because Jehovah God promises us at John 5:28, 29 that those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and there will be a resurrection. You can look forward to the time according to Revelation 21:4 when God will wipe away every tear from your eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain will be anymore. So may God wrap his loving arms around you and keep you in his care.

We are so saddened by the passing of Quintin Moses. My son Zachery chose RU to play football because of Quintin. Quintin and Zachery hit it off immediately. We are so blessed that we had the opportunity meeting Coach Moses on recruitment day. He definitely left an impression on my son. My prayers go out to the family, RU family, and friends.

No words can comfort the loss of a family member, but people do care.
Quentin was a student at CSHS. I taught him in the 11th grade. He learned very quickly and exemplified a great potential. What a loss!!

Our hearts and prayers goes out to Coach "Q", Dria, and Little Miss Jas...You all will forever be in our hearts. Coach Moses called me "Moma Bear" but he just didn't know he was "Father Bear" to so many young men, including my son who he encouraged on those trips from Monroe, GA. to Walesa, Ga. He was the one who came to offer my son his football scholarship, the one who came and took him back and forth to school while his foot was in the healing process....Dria, was the sweetest Chic! I meet her for the first time when I was her server at Applebee's and we introduced each other as "Dria" she was Andria and I am Shandria and she was a jewel everyday after, she encouraged my son to strive for better and never give up on his dream. She was such a beautiful and loving woman and Jas was such a beautiful angel. I didn't get much time with Jas but I do know she was loved by both Coach and Dria.
