Quinton FISHER Obituary
Quinton Fisher, beloved husband of Zoe Emily-Anne Parkinson-Fisher of Cochrane, AB, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at the age of 25 years.
Quinton Daniel Fisher, born April 28th, 1992, passed away on September 1st, 2017 in Cochrane, AB. Quinton was born in Kerrobert, SK, raised at his family farm in Cactus Lake, SK, and attended school in Macklin, SK. He lived and worked in Unity, SK before moving to Cochrane, AB with his wife, Zoe, whom he met through Air Cadets. Quinton enjoyed playing guitar, working on cars, riding motorcycles, fishing, and flying model RC planes. He also loved kayaking and curling with Zoe, playing with his dog, Layla, visiting his family farm, and spending time with his family and friends. His kind and giving heart lit up a room and brought comfort to all those around him. He was a gentle soul who was so filled with love and will be so dearly missed.
He leaves behind his wife, Zoe Parkinson-Fisher; parents, Daniel and Janet Fisher; sister, Nicole Taylor (Jeff and son Carson); brother, Kurtis Fisher (Shelby and daughters, Brooklyn and Macy, and son, Kaleb);Sister-in-law Sarah Smith (Tyson and daughter, Charlotte); dog, Layla; and many other family members and dear friends. He is pre-deceased by his grandparents, Walter and Betty Fisher, and his mother and father-in-law, Donald and Shirley Parkinson.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30a.m. on Saturday, September 9th from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Macklin, Saskatchewan with Reverend Binu Rathappillil VC presiding. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.

I remember the first summer I met Quinn: at one of our family camping trips - Gull Lake that year. Shirley said he's such a nice guy. - she told me that many times over the years.
Quinn you were a nice guy, an amazing guy! Gentle, loving, caring, kind, thoughtful, sweet. And you could curl! I cherish the memories of the curling bonspiel we played in this past winter with Zoe and you. And we won money!!
Quinn - we loved you dearly, and feel a tremendous loss with your departure from this earth. Thank you for coming into our lives, for being the nice guy you were. We will miss you forever.

Dear Zoe...my heart aches for you. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I loved listening to your newlywed adventures over the past year. The way your face lit up whenever you talked about Quinton showed so much about your love for each other. I only met Quinton briefly that one day at the centre when he arrived with flowers and lunch for you. That was such a sweet moment seeing you together. I hope that you can find comfort in remembering all the happy memories you created together. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Zoe, We have never met but connected briefly by email when you first moved to Cochrane. I was leaving the CSTC just as you started there. We never got to work together, but I have heard from many people in the community what a gift you have been to your clients and their families. Know that in the short time you have lived in Cochrane, you have been loved and appreciated for your heart and your talents. I will hold you in my heart as you process the loss of Quinton. Zoe you are one of the strongest woman I know and I hate that you have to deal with this pain yet again. I was reading the boys the Very Hungry Catapillar earlier this week and told them all about how you were my student and wrote this special message to them, so they could enjoy a book you used to read with your parents. Cherish the memories you have with Quinn as well as you do the book reading memories with your parents. You are right. He will always be with you!! Hugs to you!!

We were blessed to have met Quinn when Zoe brought him into our family circle. When I think of Quinn the word "easy" comes to mind. Quinn was someone who was easy to be with and to be around. His quiet, gentle nature and so very kind heart just made you feel at ease with him. There are so many memories that depict his deep kindness - from plowing out the driveway for Zoe's mom, Shirley to helping our Dydio enjoy a 60th anniversary dance to helping me with boosting a battery. And many more acts of kindness in between.
I so enjoyed time spent with Quinn, getting to know him better and these times were often spent in the mountains hiking and walking.
Quinn - you have left footprints on our hearts and we will keep you there forever.

QUINN, we loved you since we met you! I remember saying that if you had not asked Zoe to marry you, we would have asked you to marry Zoe. You will ALWAYS have a place in our heart. I'm forever grateful that your parents ,Janet and Dan shared you with all of us. I've never met a more gentle, kind and loving soul.
