Jerry was a wonderful neighbor and dear friend! Our Villa Berea neighborhood will not be the same without him! Rest In Peace, my friend!

Jerry was my fifth grade teacher and he was very young at that time. I remember my mom suggesting that I give him aftershave for Christmas and I told her that I didn’t think he shaved yet! I believe that he got married to his beautiful wife in October of that year and we took up a collection in class to buy his wedding gift. Some of us even attended the wedding. Mr. Miser was a wonderful teacher but an even better man. I will treasure the memories of him and his great smile and kind demeanor. Praying for comfort for his wife, children and family. ❤

Jerry was a great friend with the best smile and laugh to match. We will miss the laughter but never forget the fun times and fishing trips. God Speed Old Friend, Bob & Liz Bulkley

I didn’t know Jerry personally. My husband and I are neighbors of his daughter Stacy, and son-in-law Lou Ater. We certainly see Jerry’s shining example in their love and friendliness! We are broken hearted for the whole family . He must have impacted so many lives for the better. We pray for peace for the family.

Dear Ones, I am so sad to read this news. Please know I am holding you
close to my heart in love and prayers. How I wish I could hug you as you cry and grieve. We grieve with Hope, and say 'farewell' not 'goodbye.' Much love, Jane Schroeder
