VITALE Rachel M. Rae Vitale Kearny coffee shop, restaurant owner, 90 Mrs. Rachel M. Rae Vitale (nee Rainone), 90, of Kearny died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at the Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. The funeral will be from the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington, on Thursday, Oct. 11, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Stephens Church, Kearny, at a time to be announced. Entombment is in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation is at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Born in Carteret, Mrs. Vitale lived in Kearny for over 50 years. She was the co-owner, along with her late husband, Patsy P., of the Starlite Coffee Shop, Restaurant and Caterers in Kearny for over 25 years before retiring in 1977. She was the beloved wife of the late Patsy P. Vitale; cherished sister of Jeanette Li Puma, Julia Rainone, Mary Fernicola and the late Joseph Rainone and Anna De Jesso, and the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
