Rachel Walters Obituary
November 12, 1973 - September 1, 2011
With deep sorrow we must announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our sister, Rachel Anne Marie Walters (nee Testa), and her unborn child, at the Grey Nun's Hospital in Edmonton. Rachel leaves behind her husband of fifteen years, Martin Walters, and their seven children. An amazing wife and mom, she lived life to the fullest, accepting life's pleasures and setbacks with unwavering faith, merriment and constancy. May she continue to encourage us from her Heavenly home. Rachel leaves her mother, Maureen Testa, twelve siblings and their families, and extensive family and friends. Rachel was predeceased by her father, Vincent Testa. The funeral will be held at Holy Family Parish, Vancouver, on Saturday, September 10, at 11:00 a.m. For the Memorial Mass and reception in Calgary please call Melanie Chute at 403-938-5851. In lieu of flowers, donations for the funeral and relocation of the family would be gratefully appreciated. Donations may be directed to: Holy Family Parish, 4851 Beatrice Street, Vancouver, BC V5N 4J5, earmarked for Martin Walter's Family (Telephone 1-604-255-5026).

It is difficult to find words that would adequately express the magnitude of this tremendous loss dearest Patricia, except to say that I am so sorry. Please know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers. I pray for the sorrow in your soul to heal with the ongoing love and support of family, friends, and of Rachel always and forever.
