The memorial service was beautiful, the songs,"so Rae". I am thankful to have known her, been a friend, and co worker. I would like to know the name of the song that played during the time that Rae, Rick, and Grandson were flying the kite, it was so beautiful!!

Memorial Service update: The memorial service for Rae Ormsby will take place on Saturday, March 15th, at Pine Island United Methodist Church in Pine Island, MN. Visiting hour starts at 11:00 a.m.; service at Noon; and a lunch following at the Pine Island American Legion. Thank you everyone for your patience as we dealt with the last winter storm's impact on our plans.

With a very heavy heart we learned of Rae's passing from Arlene Collins (mom) today. Ray and family, our prayers and thoughts go out to you today. You were always such a sweet and blessed friend of the family and your kind words and presence at DJ's passing in January spoke volumes of the family you have and the commitment to your friends on earth. Rae was truly a bright light of sunshine and while Mark and I only got to meet her during the "sky diving" adventure,,,she truly left such a great feeling of happiness behind with us. What a lovely lady. Great nurse to work with, professional, loving, caring, empathetic and down to earth. A woman of many talents. We will miss you Rae.

The memorial service originally scheduled for Saturday, February 22nd has been postponed. Mom, having been an ER nurse, would be the first to encourage us not to be out on these treacherous roads. I will try to post updated dates for the service once they are arranged.

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. She is now in gods hands and is no longer suffering. Rae will always be remembered. God bless all of you.
