"My old friend, I recall the times we had hanging on my wall. I wouldn't trade them for gold. Cause the laugh and they cry me, they somehow sanctify me. They're woven in the stories I have told. And tell again. My old friend."

Dearest Raelyn...

I know you've seen me in my Flames hat and are getting a good laugh at me up there :P Well laugh it up kiddo... the Leafs day in the sun is coming ;)

I'll never forget when I came out to Calgary when I was 16 (you were 7) for Christmas. Christmas day, you and Megan were sitting on the floor opening presents and playing with toys and you came to me, put your head in my lap and told me I was your favourite cousin :) Sure you were only 7.... but it was still my favourite (and definately the cutest) memory of you.

You will always be on mind and in my heart :) Love you always

Raelyn was an amazing girl with a zest for life and a flare for making everyone laugh. I went to highschool with her, but we lost touch once graduated. I will never forget her, or our awsome bowling trips in gym class. She's smiling down on us. Miss you Rae. My deepest condolences to the family.

Sweet Raelyn

It is not how long the flower blooms, but how beautifully!

You were the most vibrant rose in the most beautiful rose garden! You are going to be missed so much! Uncle Gary was so happy to have had the chance to meet you. He noticed your zest for life! Thank you for helping us to appreciate how important family is! I know it was so important to you! I will think of you every day! I thank you for the memories we have; all you kids together at Nana & Grandad's, playing in the pool and chasing each other around the backyard. Becky & Melissa miss you so. I'm not sure if you got to meet Emma, but she would have loved you as much as we all do!

Until we meet again, sleep tight angel!

Raelyn,

When Neil and I arrive from Australia to meet Candices' new family, as her Mom, I couldn't have pick a better family. We only had a little time to get to know you, but in that short time you showed us how caring and loving you were.

Neil also remembers being in the middle of the Stampede grounds surrounded by thousands of people and not knowing a sole, but hearing his name called out in the crowd. It was you Rae, you spotted us and wanted to say hello. It made him feel very special being so far away from home and having someone recognize him in a crowd.

That was Rae. I always envisioned you and your Sister coming downunder for a visit. Rae your very welcome, you can tap me on the shoulder anytime.

You gave my daughter treasured moments and your family will miss you dearly.

Our hearts will mend, but you will always be missed.

Dearest Raelyn,

We got so lucky to be able to see you your very first christmas. Both you and Kelly just babies. From the moment you smiled you captured our hearts. A couple of years later, again was christmas in Sarnia, this time with your new sister Megan and your new cousin Kevin. Again the smiles and the laughs were priceless. Although the miles may have kept us from seeing you as often as we would have liked, the times we did have were so precious and have created so many great memories and for those, we are so grateful. Your intelligence, your laughter, your love of life. The questions, can I brush your hair Auntie Sue or take my picture Uncle Chris. How precious the memories are. Our hearts are aching with sadness as we can no longer look forward a summer visit and receive that great big hug you always gave when you got here. The fact that you were sad to leave made us realize that we are family. Again, nice memories and we are so thankful for that.

We know you will always be with us Raelyn and we love you and will always miss you.

Forever in our hearts

All of our love

Uncle Chris and Aunty Sue

you made the world a better place !

I don't even know where to start. Raelyn was an amazing person, she had so much energy and enthusiasm for everything in her life. Every day at school she had a bright smile on her face, never failing to be happy! Her arms were always open to anyone who needed a hug. Through junior high and highschool I played a lot of sports with Raelyn not only was she a great teammate, one you could depend on in the big games, she was also a great friend. Raelyn touched my life in many different ways, I will never forget her. There are no words I can say that will express my sorrow and regret that this has happened but I know that Rae is in a better place and I know that she's still smiling.

Dearest Rae: There are no words that can ever discribe how I feel. I will never forget the first time we met, that long drive to Cranbrook, and how your dad and I seemed to hit it off. If anyone asked me if I wanted to be a mother at age 24, you could have bet it would have been an overwhelming no. However, you Rae, and Megan were the two most wonderfull girls ever. For this I couldn't resist. I wanted to be apart, your joy, smile, and your want to be my craft partner. Dream Catchers..need I say more. Your a wonderfull BIG sister and the fond memories of all of us walking through the mall and the people walking by trying to piece together who was the mother. Oh the giggles over that. I know Alyssa misses you dearly, and I know that you will be watching over her. Rae, Heaven is a place where the angels go, and my dear Rae I know you will be shining on us allways. We miss you so very much, we love you.

Forever in our hearts.

Hi Rae!

Wow it has been so long. I have so many great memories of you. From playing soccer to the many years of basketball. Remember that Halloween when you wanted to be a farmer and I wanted to be a pig and Megan wanting to be a cow? Wow we were cool...well atleast we thought we were. It feels like yesterday that you, megs, megan(your sister) and I were playing house in the shead you had in your back yard. Remember when Megs and I slep over at your dads house when your cat had kitties...we stayed up all night. My favorite memory of us together is in grade 6 when over the lunch hour we would take over the job as the secretary for the leadership program. We would intercom rooms just cause we would like to hear are voices and always screwing up the proper way to answer the phones..."Hi you have reached Beddingtons Heights Elem. how may we direct your call" but when it came around to us saying it we would improvise. My heart goes out to your family and I will keep you in my heart forever.

Love you lots

I was really lucky to get the chance to meet Raelyn when we played on the same community basketball team 6 years ago. A real sweetheart who always lit up the room. I guess heaven needed another angel, too bad it came so early. Best wishes to her family.

Raelyn IS the most loving and genuine person I have ever met! I met Rae my first year of college at RDC, and I won't ever forget her. She was one of those people who everyone just gravitated to, I don't quite know why, but maybe it's because we knew how big her heart was. Raelyn really did care about everyone she met, and that's something that i don't think too many people can say. From chats over hotdogs from the hotdog toaster (a christmas present, she loved), to endless dancing, I'll miss so much Rae!

Thinking of you always.

Raelyn, and family

No words can describe the feeling of a loved one passing; we will always remember her smile, her laugh, and her presence. It seems as though she's gone forever, but really she will always be right here in our hearts, every day, every thought, every memory that passes through our minds. Raelyn you will always be remembered.

We will miss seeing you at mom and dads gatherings. We’ve known each other since we were little girls. Our families are so close, as one. We will never forget you.

You will be in our thoughts, our sincere condolences go out to you

Although I never had the opportunity to coach Raelyn , I did have the chance to watch her grow as a person and basketball player here at Churchill. She was an key player in a great group of athletes that we had here . I remember those early mornings she would come in and work on her "game" in the Aux Gym. She always had a smile and joke or two to liven up the day. My thoughts and prayers are with the Plamer family in this time of sorrow. Take Care and God Bless

RaeRae,

These past few days I've spent looking at photo's and going over memories. I realized that you have taught me so much and you have been my inspiration for life. Sure we had our up's and down's, but what pair of sister's didn't? It's going to be hard for me, but I know that I will see you again some day, and that is what is giving me hope. I know that you were proud of me, and I promise to continue to make you proud. I will live my life for you. You were such an amazing girl--not only as a sister, but as a daughter, and especially as a friend. I am going to miss the laughter, and the smiles, but I know that you're in a better place and smiling and laughing for the people you are with. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me. You are my everything.

I miss you RaeRae!

Love,

I never got the opportunity to meet Raelyn, but Jim did, and told me a story about whenever she would come to visit her dad at work, she would always bring donuts for everyone. After reading everyone's comments, it's clear what an amazing person she was and how devastating it is to have lost her. Our thoughts are with you and your family, Mike, in this terrible time.

I offer my deepest condolences to Sandra Alan Michael Candice Megan Alyssa Charmaine Janae and Kearse for your loss at this time. Raelyn Dawn touched so many people in such positive ways. I met Raelyn on a few occassions with my daughter and I would agree with all that has been said about her at this time. She really did have a way of touching everyone who was fortunate enough to have had her in our lives. She was a true "gem" and we are fortunate to have people like her cross our paths in life, even if it's brief for some of us. Your loss is so great; we can't imagine but our community has lost a special person and I hope you all take comfort in knowing that many many people will miss Raelyn Dawn in our lives as well.

Raelyn was very near and dear to me and the thought of not seeing her bright smile or hearing her uninhibited laughter ever again breaks my heart. I know she will live on in my memories and my heart but......what I would give for just one more of her hugs!

I played basketball with Raelyn for 3 years, and against her in college - I loved her both as a teammate and as an opponent. Raelyn was so genuine and will be dearly missed by all. She has touched so many lives and will be looking down on all of us. Love you and miss you Rae.

"How I cried when the sky let go with the cold and lonesome rain a friend smiled and said, dont be sad - Raelyn's watching you today.

Because there's holes in the floor of heaven, and the tears are pouring down, that's how you know she's watching, wishing she could be here now, and sometimes if you're lonely, just remember she can see, there's holes in the floor of heaven and she's watching over you and me."

I met Raelyn at basketball provincials in 2003. I instantly loved her. She's the type of girl everyone loves; outgoing, loveable, and caring. Even if we weren't very close she would always ask how I was doing whenever she was around, especially about basketball. She made you feel like you belonged right away, which is amazing considering I was the shy young Gr. 10 girl in her graduating year. She leaves behind a legacy of her life, seen through the friends and family members she touched who will never forget the brightness she brought to every day. Raelyn was a truely amazing girl. She always made a point of saying hello to us when we came into the gym, with a great big smile on her face. We had some very good times in the stands sitting with her and some of her friends. We will always remember her. Our hearts and prayers are with you.

Sincerely

Peter & Jutta Sprunger
