You were taken on to glory 10 years ago. My love for you is ever present, my longing for one more smile and hug are never ending. I rejoice in knowing you have no pain, and you and mommy will be there to greet me upon my arrival. Gone by forever in my thoughts.

As children Candy and I awaited Ralph’s “Bud’s” arrival (a baby brother); as he grew we shared in his love of baseball, wrestling, football and anything else boyish. While he was a young man, we had all gone our own way, yet we shared in each other’s accomplishments and supported each other in our struggles. When he became a man, his life took a turn; we rejoiced as he accepted the Lord as his savior, we loved each other like others wish they had love, we cried and shared in the loss of our mother, we prayed for his recovery/deliverance from leukemia and now we find ourselves waiting in anticipation for the day we all will be reunited. “We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord” 2 Cor. 5:8

Bud will always be in our hearts. He fought hard, and is now, surely, in the presence of God.
