Ramon L. Charo passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 66. He was born on January 13, 1957, to Elena and Merced Charo.
Mr. Charo is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Isabel Charo Mojica; nephew, Jesse T. Charo and grandson, Malachi Alvarado.
Mr. Charo is survived by his children, Ramon (Ashley) Charo Jr. and Yasmine (Jesus) alvarado III; grandchildren, Aaliyah Charo, Raeann Charo, Oscar Charo, Jordan Charo, Jeseakah Alvarado, Jeseavaeh Alvarado, and Jessie Alvarado; mother of his children, Elsa De Los Santos; sisters, Elsa Cruz, Maria (Juan) Martinez and his brothers, Robert (Rachel) Charo, Merced (Irma) Charo, and Octabio (Jane) Charo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Mr. Charo worked for ACME Bridge most of his life and truly enjoyed setting the foundations for the construction of new overpasses. He had a passion for softball and truly enjoyed being out on the field with his son, family, and friends. He was quite a character, never a dull moment with him around. His quote was always “Echale pa que saquen” basically saying “You get out what you put in.” He also enjoyed attending as many athletic and school events that his grandchildren participated in. No matter what the circumstances he always made time for his family. When times got a little rough, he always gave 100% and pushed forward. He leaves a legacy behind that no matter what will live on in his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Charo’s favorite Bible verse was John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Amen.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at La Vina Del Senor from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m.
