Former owner of Ray's Shoes and Repair. It is with great sadness that the family of Ramon Isaac announces his passing on September 16th, 2018 at the age of 89. Born in Matanzas, Cuba he migrated to Pittsburgh, PA in 1954, where he proudly became an American citizen and started his own business in the 1960's. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Ann M. Isaac; and his children, Michael (Sharon), Paul (Jamie), Linda Wilson (Russell), Joseph (Julie), and Amie Lubawski (David); as well as his grandchildren, Michael, Tasha, and Richard Isaac, Paul Isaac Jr. (Michele), Dana Gibellino (Brandon), Jared, Jacob, and Joshua Wilson, Emily and Nathan Isaac, and Kristen and David Lubawski; and great-grandchildren Bridget, Alex, and Ava Isaac. Ramon was pre-deceased by his granddaughter Natalie Isaac; brother of Michael "Musa" Issac. From the moment he arrived in Carnegie, he worked two jobs working in the early mornings at Beverly Dry Cleaners and working in the afternoons as a shoemaker. He eventually started Ray's Shoes and Repair and continued working hard into his late seventies. He enjoyed camping at Pymatuning Lake and golfing with family in his later years. Friends received at the BAGNATO FUNERAL HOME, Jefferson St., Carnegie, TuesDAY, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral liturgy in St. George Orthodox Church, Bridgeville, Wednesday, 10 a.m. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. My Dear Family. May Uncle Rays memory be eternal. We just loved him. Because of my own situation at home I regret that I can not pay my respect in person. He truly was a good friend to my Mother and Father.
With Love and Regrets.
