On Saturday, September 15, 2018, Ramona Ybarra Patino, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother passed away at the age of 92. Ramona was born in Colorado City, TX on March 9, 1926. She grew up in Pecos and lived in Midland for over 70 years.
In June 1963, Ramona married the love of her life Alfredo Patino. They spent 55 happy years together. Our beloved mother was a faithful member of the Church of Christ for over 60 years. Ramona loved to sing and enjoyed the company of her family, of which she was very proud. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

Ramona is survived by her husband Alfredo Patino, her daughters: Aurora Montanez of Dallas, TX, Rita Andrade, Cruz Tarango, Josephine Jimenez, Irene Herrera, Cecilia Lozano, Christina Hinostroza, Isabel Rodriquez, Consuelo Rivera, Elizabeth Garcia and son Israel Patino, all of Midland, 4 sisters, 1 brother, 76 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Librada Ybarra, infant son Eusebio Almanza, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and 3 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am - 9:00 pm on Monday, September 17 and Tuesday, September 18, at Bilingual Church of Christ at 1900 Orchard Ln. The funeral service will be held at 7:00pm, Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Bilingual Church of Christ at 1900 Orchard Ln. and will be officiated by Israel Patino. Burial will be Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 2:00pm at Resthaven Memorial Park. Her grandsons, Israel Patino Jr., Aaron Patino, Benigno Tarango Jr., Carlos Tarango, Caleb Patino, Joel Patino, Jared Patino and Hildo Garcia Jr. will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Hildo Garcia and Stanley Diaz Jr.

I'm so sorry for your loss. The loss of a family member or close friend is the hardest loss of all and mere words can't heal the pain but you have my utmost condolences and wishes that your pain will ease somewhat remembering how she loved the Lord.
