Randall (Randy) Crawford, 68, went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2025 after a long and brave battle with Pancreatic cancer.

Randy was born on September 6, 1956. He was raised in Columbiaville, Michigan by two loving parents who proceeded him in death. Jim and Betty Crawford taught Randy how to be a hard worker and to love life to the fullest.

Randy attended Lakeville High school and ITT Tech where he received his Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Randy worked for Cad Cam, Inc. doing computer aided design work. He designed parts of the space shuttle and designed the lady symbol on the Bakers Chocolate packaging. Through Cad Cam, Randy started doing work with Whirlpool, Inc. and eventually was hired in by Whirlpool as a product designer working in the range and oven design area. Randy worked with Whirlpool for 25 years before being offered an early retirement in 2020 during Covid. Randy was also a volunteer Firefighter and Paramedic for the Butler Township Fire Department for 25 years. He won the Meritorious award for serving others with care and devotion.

Randy married the love of his life Debbie (Webb) Crawford. They have been married for 45 wonderful years. They raised two great kids. Erik Crawford and Brandi (Crawford) Gray. They also have two Grandkids, Taylor Reynolds and Jayce Gray. And a beautiful great grandson Adriel Reynolds.

Randy is also proceeded in death by his great grandson, Kayden Reynolds, his father-in-law Ray Webb, Son-in-law Royce Gray and Sister-in-Law Gloria Crawford.

He will be greatly missed by those surviving him. Mother-in-Law Lois Webb and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his very special doggy Mia.

Randy loved the outdoors. He enjoyed traveling with his family all over the United States. He also enjoyed reading and studying his Bible. His favorite pastime was fishing. And he loved spending the winters in Florida.

Randy made the Yore Community Church his home church where he excepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. In Florida he attended The Calvery Baptist Church.

Randy and Debbie loved to attend the South Bend Cubs games and going to Christian Music concerts and Randy loved sharing his testimony of his cancer journey to anyone who would listen to him.

Randy requested to be cremated, and a celebration of his life will be held in the spring. Randy asked that any donations in his honor be made to the V Foundation for Cancer research at https://www.v.org or the Yore Community Church at 2690 Yore Ave, Sodus, MI 49126.

Working with Randy was always a genuinely enjoyable experience. I valued his patience, his deep respect for others, and his dedicated approach to work. We worked together at Whirlpool during my time in Dayton from 1997 to 2001, and later in St. Joseph from 2001 to 2016. His professionalism and positive presence were a welcome quality in a corporate environment. I also remember his fondness for Mountain Dew and a large bag of potato chips - a small but memorable detail that always made me smile.

I ALWAYS enjoyed working with Randy. He was patient, very respectful and hard working. I worked with Randy, at Whirlpool, from 2001 until I retired in 2017.
He was a co-worker and more so .... a Friend. I will never forget his laugh.

Randy was a wonderful man that will be greatly missed. We worked together at Whirlpool for several years. My fondest memories with Randy are building the cardboard boat for racing in the river for charity.

Debbie, My heart goes out to you and your family in your time of need. Randy was so good at giving me advice about my Son´s health. Greg said to tell you he was sorry about Randy, and He wished he could have met him. Deb I think of you often and Randy. May God´s blessings be with you. Love you, Marge and John Rivera
