Randy was an example of person and human being. Kind, respectful, honorable. I knew him as a coworker at Ogle County Court House, I will dearly miss bumping to him on the hallways and always being so respectful and kind. Liutentant as I called him from an scene from the movie Dances with Wolves. I sure will miss you my friend, I will see you again.....but not yet. Rest In Peace Randy

To the Hilliard family; I met Randy only a couple of times, he was a super cop and all around nice guy, I enjoyed talking to him. Please accept my sincere condolences and may the good Lord shine his grace down upon your family.

Randy was a great guy and Cop. I enjoyed working with him when I was assigned to the Sheriff's Department Investigative Unit many years ago. He was a devoted Packers Fan. We often talked about the Packers and Bears, with Randy having the upper hand most of the time. Our thoughts and Prayers are with Cori, the girls and family. May God hold you in his loving hands.

My thoughts and prayers for everyone of The Hilliard and Lamb families. I have so many memories of Randy growing up with my children, on the fire department & around town. He was a one of a kind, always wanting to help others & serve.
