Randall J. Williams, 50, of Wilson, Arkansas passed away on April 26, 2013. He was born in Dumas on December 30, 1962 to Floyd J. and Betty (Mitchell) Williams. Captain Randall Williams was employed by ADC for over twenty-six years.

He worked for Varner before transferring to Mississippi County Work Release Center. Randall Williams was the Captain over Mississippi County Work Release. He supervised 30 employees and 121 inmates on a daily basis to ensure safety and security. Capt. Williams was always available when needed and always available to fill-in when needed. He was very active in the community by donating Christmas Toys for Toys for Tots, prizes for Bingo for the elderly, donating food, toys and other much needed supplies to the Haven (abused women shelter). He also donated school supplies to several various schools in the area. Capt. Williams was instrumental in supporting (12 miles) Adopt-A-Highway for Mississippi County. He also transported inmates to local schools to participate in inmate panels. He has received numerous awards and letters from Mayors, Senators and Citizens from Mississippi, Clay and Craighead Counties. Capt. Williams is s "shining star for ADC. Staff was proud to have him on the ADC team. Capt. Williams always had a "get-r-done" attitude which motivated other staff members. He was a great leader and follower, the best part of Capt. Williams is that he has "Character". So, Capt. Williams was our "Hero" and has set the example for others to follow.

He is survived by his father, Floyd J. Williams of Rison; son, Randall J. Williams, Jr. of Pine Bluff; daughter, Brandy Jo Williams of Star City; brothers, Ronnie Williams of Harrison, Ricky Williams of Pine Bluff; three grandchildren, Kristopher, Haven and Randall J. Williams, III and his faithful Yorkies, Katrina and Kara Jane.

i say gone too soon, but had special plansfor you, and they were for you to come join him for all eternity in heaven. For you are unforgetable, your ways ,personality and just being you. It was a joy to work with you. In 2012 when bumped into each other at walmart we shared so many moments and cleared some airs, laughed a little about old times, then we parted our ways. I'll always thanks god for that all the times we shared while working at mississippi county work release center. Rest on my friend, i'll truly miss you.
