Randy RATKE Obituary
March 8, 1979 – November 19, 2016
Randy was a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin and friend who had a deep faith and a beautiful spirit. He passed away peacefully in his sleep to be in the loving care of his Heavenly Father on November 19, 2016.
Very shocked and deeply saddened by the loss are his parents Eileen Ratke and Marwyn (Irene) Ratke, his brother Darcy M Ratke, Aunts and Uncles: Jean Anne (Richard) Jorgensen, Edward (Silvana) Shewchuk, John Jr. (Suzan) Shewchuk and Tim (Carol Angle) Shewchuk, Gerald Radke, Glenda Hess, Norma (Victor) Luoma and Linda Ponicky as well as step-grandfather Arnold Scheetz. Left to cherish his memory are numerous cousins and great-cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Glory Lutheran Church (22577 Highway 16, Sherwood Park, AB) on Friday, November 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. This celebration will continue with lunch served thereafter.
The family's sincerest thanks go out to the Sherwood Park Ambulance Services, Fire Department, Victims Services and the RCMP who responded to our call within minutes. A grateful thank-you to Pastor Richard Reimer for his spiritual support during this difficult time.
Donations may be made to Robin Hood Association and Gateway Association for Community Living.
