MARSHALL, TX: George Randall Shankle, affectionately known as Randy Shankle, passed away on November 21, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. He was surrounded by his wife of 26 yrs, his children, his close friends of many years, Shelly Alley and Sam & Cindy McAllister. Randy was born on July 7, 1949, in Hartford, Arkansas. He was the son of Milton and Ruby Shankle and he shared his early years with his brother, Roy Shankle, who survives him.

Randy's life was a testament to his unwavering faith and dedication to his Lord and Savior, Jesus. Known for his deep love of Christ, he devoted his life to ministry, discipleship training for men and woman and teaching men in leadership. He touched countless lives through his service to the the body of Christ and his commitment to helping others. His compassionate spirit and generous heart left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Randy is survived by his devoted wife, Crystal Shankle, who stood by his side throughout their journey together. Their love for each other impacted many lives and was a testament to the goodness of God to bring two people together to impact the Kingdom of God and marriages. They had a heart for marriages and for others to experience what God intended a marriage to truly reflect and how to truly love one another. He was a proud and loving father to his five children: Carrie Lee, Carena, Charisma, Damian, and Jared. His legacy continues through his 14 cherished grandchildren, each of whom he adored.

Throughout his life, Randy exemplified the virtues of a true son of God, strong of faith, love, and service. His dedication to his family and the body of Christ was unwavering, and his memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Randy's life was a reflection of true sonship, commitment to his Lord and master. He was full of hope and love, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who follow in his footsteps.

As his family and friends remember Randy, they celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, faith, and service. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those he touched through his ministry.

The Shankle Family will be honoring Randy's life on December 15, 2024 at 11:00am at The Church in Marshall, 3402 South Washington Avenue, Marshall Texas 75672. All are welcome to come and celebrate his legacy. In lieu of flowers or cards, the family would prefer a consideration for a monetary donation to help go toward costs incurred for medical and funeral arrangements, if you wish but it is not necessary. Your prayers and continued support are greatly appreciated.

Randy was such a great man of God. I gained a lot of spiritual revelation from him. I will truly miss hearing his voice and seeing him.

Reading the book the Merismos. This book change my life and my way of processing. We taught this book in our church several times and I am currently teaching it online now. I was very saddened and delighted to see that Brother Shankle has gone on to Glory. May The Lord continue to bless what He has started.

Good Evening my beloved Sis Crystal and fam. Our condolensis to you and your fam. Randy was a true Son of God. He lived the life and loved God and His people. His Rejoicing in Heaven with our Heavenly Father and loved ones will surely miss him alot. We pray new strength and ask the Precious Holy Spirit to Comfort each one and give you His Perfect peace in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ Amen Hallelujah. Take care.
