Deerfield Beach - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Randy Wright, 66, of Deerfield Beach, FL who died October 3,2024 in hospice care at Broward Health North.

Born on February 12,1958 in East Liverpool, Ohio, son of the late Herbert Hoover Wright and Rose Marie Trevino Wright Elkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Herbert and Richard Wright, sister Candy Lynn Prince and his Step-Father Carlos Elkins.

Randy was an accomplished General Contractor/Painter, who ran his own business in South Florida for 30 years. Randy was a beloved member of the Deerfield, Delray Beach and Boca Raton community where he made numerous friends. He had an infectious smile, was always ready to help a lending hand, funny and a very loyal friend. He was always ready to go for a motorcycle ride and a drink at the local pub. Randy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Randy leaves behind Sons Randy Wright Jr. (Autumn), Christian Wright, Justin Wright (Jayde). Daughters Shawn Daniels (John), Dawn Gaffney (Shane) and Danae Carney (Raymond). Brothers Mitchel (Deb) and Robert Wright, Sister-In- Law Louise, Brother-In-Law Doug, along with 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren,nephews and nieces and their families.

Randy also had a very special relationship with the Lona family from Midland, PA. This was his extended family, who he loved dearly. The late Santiago "Jimmy" and Mildred "Milka" Lona (Mama and Papa), Lola (Tia Dee Dee) and Joseph Baich, late Milan "Fatso" Lona, Michael Lona and Steve Lona.

The remaining Lona Family, Lawrence "ChaCho" (Nancy) Lona, John (Collette) Lona, Maria (John) Caruso and Theresa "Tee Tee Bebe" Lona and their families, whom he had great memories of.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the hospice care team for their compassion and support during Randy's final days.

A celebration of Randy's life will be held at a future date.
