Mr. Raul Castillo, age 54, was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven on Saturday, March 4th, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

 

 

Raul was the owner and operator of Six R’s Trucking, LLC; since his youth he endeavored to be a true entrepreneur and wore many vocational hats in his lifetime. Ever resourceful and determined, he was a master of many trades, he was also a Master Carpenter and Contractor. He spent much of his time at the family ranch where he enjoyed family gatherings and fishing. His favorite hobby, among his many pastimes, was playing the bajo sexto and spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. 

 

 

He was preceded in passing by: his beloved daughter, Amanda Castillo and his father, Alejandro Castillo, Sr.

 

 

Left to cherish his memory are: the love of his life, his wife of 36 devoted years of marriage, Melissa A. Castillo; adored children, Raul (Ivonne) Castillo, Roel (Adriana Segovia) Castillo, Rogelio Castillo, Ramiro (Alma Salinas) Castillo, and Raymond (Jennifer Garza) Castillo; and his grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Julianna Castillo, Sasha Castillo, Arabella Castillo, Alyna Castillo, Ramiro Castillo, Jr., and Galilea Castillo. He is further survived by his mother, Lucila Castillo; and siblings, Alejandro (Becky) Castillo, Jr., Cordelia (Jair) Guerrero, and Maribel (Frank Alfaro) Castillo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

 

 

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, March 08, 2023 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

 

 

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday morning, March 09, 2023 departing at 9:00 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m.

 

 

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow after Mass at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

 

 

Pallbearers will be: Raul Castillo, Jr., Roel Castillo, Rogelio Castillo, Ramiro Castillo, Raymond Castillo, Alejandro Castillo, Jr., Orlando Martinez, and Richard Martinez.

 

 

Honorary Pallbearer will be: Anthony Martinez.
