Michael, Colleen, John, Robert & Leone,
While six years have glided by, my thoughts of Ray are ever a blink away. We are in the hallway at Mende CHS, we are on the 3 man BB court of the Chicago P ark District summer league with Gar R, we are on our way to the Indiana Dunes for an weekend overnighter of mischief!, in the ballroom of Harrod's in Lake Tahoe, the silver mine in Carson City, the bar at Corrigan's Bit of Ireland on Wells St, and then we are at the brick factory in Porto Vallarta on our way to Cabo San Lucas to see his buddy at the Latitude 22 Bar & Grill. Yet no place was like the deck at the 'cabin" in Dixie Valley. He and we were home, together. he then was joyful in sharing his joy in the memories of being in County Donegal when we joined with Robert and Leone and all the family and friends at St. Mary's Church on Inch Island for this joyous occasion their wedding. We were at rainbows end at those moments. Blessed times with our Anam Cara.

It was always a grand time when Ray was around. I so much enjoyed listening to him and Denis go on about their adventures, people they met, places they had been. I will remember him with love and affection. Bet there is a lot of laughter and stories going on in heaven now that these 2 are there. Slan.

Michael, Colleen, John, Robert,
My life long best friend is beyond our sight, yet in the glow of the Lord. Since we were 12 in the sixth grade at St. John Baptist DeLaSalle school in Chicago, your wonderful Dad has been my best friend, (in the Gaelic) my ANAM CARA, I.e., my soul friend. He led us in playing ball, laughing and caring for each other. He was always ready to play the game, and always "all in!"
Your separation while physical, as always you know he is there. That is the man who is ever our ANAM CARA. RIP

To Ray's family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss. Ray was a class cut-up at St. John's and I remember him well. May the good Lord welcome him with open arms.

I'm so sad to read this! Ray was my boss in Bingo at Harrah's for many years and I have such great memories of him. He was a super boss and so much fun to talk and have a drink with after work. He was so funny and I enjoyed his stories, laughter and sense of humor. Ray may you RIP and my prayers are with his family.
