Ray Houck, age 92 of Turlock passed away at home on Friday, April 3rd, with his family at his side. Ray was born in Norman, Oklahoma in 1922 and moved to California in 1936, he has resided in California for 79 years
Ray was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was loved by his family and will be deeply missed. Ray enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. Ray is survived by his children: Larry (Betty) Houck of Elk Grove, CA, Phil (Katie) Houck of Sparks, NV, Carl (Sandy) Houck of Santa Rosa, CA, Ron (Pam) Houck of Willows, CA, Bob (Vickie) Houck of Turlock, CA, 1 sister, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 67 years, 1 son, 5 brothers, and 4 sisters.
Visitation will be held from 10 - 5pm on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Allen Mortuary.
Services will be held 10am on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Allen Mortuary with interment to follow at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
