He was born Oct. 22, 1920 in Jeannette to Russell W. and Mary Mae (Myers) Bish. Mr. Bish was formerly employed by Harbison-Walker Refractories in Templeton. A veteran, he served during World War II. He was a member of the Oakdale Church of the Brethren in Distant. He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Rhoda A. (Bowser) Bish; two sons, R. James Bish of Seminole and Gary R. Bish of Fostoria, Ohio; four grandchildren, Ryan Bish, Mrs. Greg (Tawna) Shumaker, Mrs. Bill (Heidi) Bish and Mrs. Dion (Heather) Damschroder; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Clayton Bish of Templeton RD, Paul Bish of Templeton and Walter Bish of Fostoria, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter; and six brothers. BISH - Friends of Raymond H. Bish, 81, of Seminole, formerly of Templeton, who died March 11, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Rupert Funeral Home, 301 Penn St., New Bethlehem, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. T. Donald Hamilton officiating. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Distant. Arrangements by Rupert.
