Raymond Brown Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 3, 2024.
Raymond W. Brown, a cherished brother, uncle, friend, and a proud U.S. Navy veteran, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2024.

Born on February 5, 1945, Raymond was the seventh of eleven children born to Bertley and Margaret Brown, who both preceded him in death. Raymond was a source of strength and inspiration to his family, navigating life with a quiet dignity and unwavering love.

He is reunited in spirit with his beloved siblings: Bertley Jr. (Elaine), Vincent (Patricia), Paul, James (Evelyn), Margaret, Richard (Linda), Michael, and Ruth. He is survived by two loving sisters, Patricia (Kenny - deceased) and Dorothy (Bruce), his sister-in-law Patricia, along with many nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, and his dear friend Steve, all of whom will carry forward his memory with love and fondness.

Though no services will be held, the family invites those who knew Raymond to remember him in their own way-through stories, laughter, and the shared bonds of family. He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered for his playful spirit, gentle heart, and unwavering commitment to those he loved.
