Former Owner of Como Farm Equipment
Peacefully at home, after a brave two and half year battle with ALS, on Friday September 11, 2015, Raymond Como at the age of 81. Dearly loved husband of Doreen (Nevills) with whom he shared 60 wonderful years. Loving father of Brenda Como (Rob Simmons), Linda (Steve Johnston), Sandra (Mike Miskiman), Brian (Pam) and Kathy (Steven Cooper). Cherished grandfather of Chris Savage (Jen), Lindsay (Martin Brown), Sarah Miskiman (Konstantin), Kaitlyn Lecours, Ryan Johnston (Katie), Laura Miskiman (Reed), Tyler Como, Brittany Cooper (Joel), Kyle Como and Alyssa Cooper. Fondly remembered by step- grandchildren Kathryn, Meghan, Andrew and their families. Adoring great-grandfather of Luke and Hannah Savage. Brother of Jeannette (Bob Gervais), Edna (late James Cudney) and Eileen Como. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank St. (between Scrivens Dr. and Metcalfe corner) on Tuesday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held privately on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the ALS Society of Canada www.als.ca or the Dundas County Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
