HAMM, RAYMOND G. Age 68 February 5, 2015 Loving father of Jeffrey(Lori)Hamm & James Hamm. Proud grandfather of Jonathan, Jack & Jimmy. Dearest brother of Elinor Hamm & Randy(Estelle)Hamm. Dear uncle of Lisa & Katie Hamm. Raymond was a retired Senior Chief of the Detroit Fire Department. Visitation Monday 3-9pm with 6:00pm Scripture Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Funeral Tuesday Instate 10:30am at St. Malachy Church 14115 14 Mile Rd. (btw. Schoenherr & Hayes) until time of Mass at 11:00am. Donations are welcome to the Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation - MI Chapter c/o Team Jack Hamm or the Make-A-Wish Foundation of MI. I met Ray my first day in the engine house at E-32 and have many fond memories of him both on the job and off. Condolences to his family and friends. He will truly be missed.
