As a former Mayor of Myersville, Ray served with me as Town Clerk. Over the years we became good friends and he also handled my taxes for many years. Kind, gentle and always ready for a funny story or joke, Ray was a wealth of knowledge. As Ray "cut back" and retired we lost touch. I would occasionally bump into him. I´m very sad about Rays passing. He was my friend and I will miss him.
