Memorial service for Raymond Dale Key, age 55, of Decatur, will be Sunday, December 27, 2020, 3:00 p.m. at Oak Park Church of God. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Mr. Key, who died Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at his residence, was born April 25, 1965, in Bochum, Germany, to Billy Dale Key and Bobbie Caldwell Key. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Angela Parrish, and one stepson, Zachary Rittenberry. Mr. Key was sales manager for Coca-Cola. He is survived by his loving wife, Sabrina Thomas Key of Decatur; one son, Tyler Key of Huntsville; one stepson, Eric Rittenberry (Elizabeth) of Tampa, FL; one brother, Ralph Rittaler of Germany; one sister, Anneli Hill Rittaler of TX; two stepbrothers, Travis Hill and Jens Rittaler, both of Germany; one stepsister, Aline Rittaler of Germany; one grandson, Tykin Marley Rittenberry of Decatur; and several nephews and nieces. I am so sorry to find out that Ray has passed away. Our families used to get together in our early teen years. I was friends with his sister Angie years before that as she would travel to Pennsylvania with my Aunt for a family reunion. Ray was part of a wonderful family. My heart goes out to his wife and family.
