Just now finding this out. I met Ray when I was in banking and he use to come in and tell me the most entertaining stories, he became a friend and mentor for me in starting my own business. He will be missed greatly and I'm sad I wasn't able to tell him how much he helped me in my search for my next big leap. I truly feel like he came into my life for a brief couple of years for a reason.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ray when my students created the web site for his company Envigur 12 years ago. Since then, we remained friends and I continued to be his web and IT guy. Ray was full of life, loved jazz and traveling, and introducing people to the genre.

He was also a fighter. Every time he would get unwanted news about a treatment that didn't work, he was looking for the next treatment, the next step. He loved life so much.

I was so sorry to hear of his passing. I was fortunate to be a recipient on an email list where he sent pictures of his travels. He kept telling me, "Dale, we need to have coffee soon." I'm sorry that there will be no more coffees. I found out about his passing at the time of his celebration of life. I'm sorry I missed it. I certainly would have been there.

It was a pleasure to know you Ray. I hope our paths cross again in another time/space.

I would appreciate an email from a family member so I know what to do with his web site and email address.

I am so very sorry to hear that Ray is not telling stories, jokes, trying to solve other people's problems with his trenchant wit and a rasher of advice. I always admired his energy and verve. He was running marathons long past when most of us had blown out our knees and joints. I was very fond of Ray Langton - -a merry prankster in the best sense. Safe travels Ray and keep the trail marked for the rest of us.
