I think it was Uncle Andy and Aunt Zelda who drove Raymond to St Louis to join a monastery. Uncle Andy used to tease Raymond saying, "Raymond got home before we did."

I remember hearing Raymond pray both before and after a meal. He was such a good example to me. A good and faithful man. I will always remember the sound of his voice and his smile.

I feel very blessed that I got to know Raymond, he was a good man and he will certainly be missed. I met him by chance at St. Mary's years ago and he has made a difference in my life, and I know in the lives of many others.
