Raymond Martin Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 30, 2025.
Raymond Anthony Martin III, affectionately known as "Tony," passed away on January 21, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio, just miles from where his life began 74 years ago in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, on November 7, 1950.

Tony was the beloved husband of 22 years to Victoria Jensen and the loving father of Danielle Martin, stepfather to Zachary Moskowitz ( Courtney) and Mauri Moskowitz. He was a dear brother to Mary Smith (Shelby) and Chris Hehn (Mark) and was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Jeanne Martin. He also leaves behind many cherished aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews

Tony's life was marked by intellectual curiosity with a passion for learning; he was an avid reader of history and a dedicated writer of op-eds. His kindness and faith touched countless lives and those who knew him will remember his ability to inspire others to see the world through a broader lens.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, February 6, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Rose Church, 2501 Riverside Dr., Cincinnati, OH 45202. A Celebration of Life will follow at his home. Interment at Dayton National Cemetery will take place later this spring.

May Tony's memory bring comfort to all who knew him. Until we meet again, may God hold him in the palm of His hand.

In lieu of flowers, bring a smile to the world by directing memorials to the DAV (Disabled American Vets) or charity of choice.

Vicky my heart goes out to you for the loss of Tony. The days are never the same after they are gone.
Tony was a great guy to work with. I loved his sense of humor and dry wit. We had a lot of laughs back in the day. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this trying time.

Tony and I both worked for River Bend, had a couple of differences of opinions but overall we enjoyed each other´s company and sharing ideas on growing our operations, while having great fun on managers meetings..

Although I never met Tony, I do know his wife, Vickie. My heart goes out to you and your family as you begin your new normal without Tony. Vickie, know that my sympathy is with you. Until we lunch again, I will keep you close in my thoughts.
