We are very sorry to hear this news and send our sincere condolences to Carolyn and family. Ray was a wonderful neighbor and friend to all on Tinasa Way. Both he and Carolyn were missed when they moved to Vermont. We have happy memories of our many patio parties and neighborhood activities together. Regards old friend.

Carolyn,
My heart and thoughts go out to you and your family. Ray was such a wonderful guy. Always has such a warm smile! I'm so grateful to have known him and you in his 5 years as a volunteer reading with 2nd graders at Vista Grande Elementary with Everyone A Reader program. A very special person has passed.
Fondly,
Martha Moffett

I am so sorry to hear of Ray's passing. He was one of my teachers at Miramar college. Since I was from New York we always hit it off. He always had a good story to tell. Rest in peace, Ray.

Thank you Ray for all you did for the students in the Fire Technology department at Miramar College. You were a good friend of mine and we shared some good times and laughs. Carolyn we're thinking of you and your family.

Ray was a mentor and friend, who made certain so many of us entering the fire service had a solid base, and a place to seek guidance when necessary. His sense of humor, and dry wit just amazed me. The stories of his career with the FDNY were always laced with wit and humor, and I will miss him. Thanks for everything Ray!
