Raymond READ Obituary
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Loved son of Victa and Vida (both dec.). Brother of Dougie (dec.), Tuppy, Brian, Wayne, and Janice. Brother-in-law of Barry (dec.), Judy, Marilyn, and Mickey. Dearly loved husband of Kay for 58 years. Cherished father of Scott and Lisa, Damian and Kristy, Donna and Wayne, Rachael and Jason. Adored Pop of his nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren with one not out yet.
Always in our hearts, a true gentleman now at rest.

READ Raymond Charles (Ray) Passed away on Friday, 10th July at Latrobe after a long illness. Respected brother, brother-in-law and uncle of Bryan, Judy, Tanya, Mandy, Kristy and families. A great innings - now at rest.

VETERANS CRICKET TASMANIA extends its deepest sympathies to the family of Ray READ Ray was a long-standing and highly respected member of the veterans cricket movement and represented Tasmania at many national championships as both player and captain. He provided great assistance to the organisation and encouragement to its individual members, but above all, he was a valued friend to many throughout the state and a true gentleman in all his dealings.
