Raymond C. Redd (Butch), 67, of 907 E. Madison, died Monday, at 3:55 a.m. February 13, 2017, at Via Christi hospital in Pittsburg Kansas.
He was born April 3, 1949 in Pittsburg, to Raymond and Deloris Redd and was a lifetime resident of Pittsburg.
Mr. Redd worked for McCabe's Body Shop as an auto body mechanic and C-CAP. He retired in 1992 due to medical disabilities.
Mr. Redd is survived by four children, Pamela and John Clark, Tammy Redd, Becky and Chad Hale, and Craig and Patricia Redd all of Pittsburg; three brothers Donald Heslop, David Redd, and Mike Redd of Pittsburg; and 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life dinner will be held on Friday February 17, 6-8pm at Lifechangers Church Intl. 706 N Broadway, Pittsburg. The family will accept sympathy cards, flowers, and donations at that time.

So sorry to learn of Butch's passing. I played drums with him so many years ago that I can't even remember the name of the band... But I certainly remember Butch. He was a good man. I'm sorry for your loss.

Butch will always be in my heart. I am glad I got to stop by and see him last year when I was home from Australia. I enjoyed playing music with him in the Blister Heel Boys Band. Pam, Tammy, Becky and Craig. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Butch you will be greatly missed.
