Raymond Paul Thompson, II, 30, of Baytown, TX passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018. He was born August 2, 1988 in Channelview, TX to Daniel and Mary Thompson.

Raymond loved racing, if it went fast he loved it. He started out racing cars and eventually started racing dirt bikes as well. He loved being a father to his two kids, Travis and Kylie, and tried to never miss any of their programs. When he was younger he played baseball and basketball, he loved the outdoors, building and working on cars, and hanging out with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his parents, sister, and children. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Baytown.

Raymond is preceded in death by his Grandmother Geraldine Thompson, Great Grandmother Marie Strokos, and his two uncles Kenneth Thompson and Jeremy Thompson. He is survived by his parents Daniel and Mary Thompson, his children Travis and Kylie Thompson and their mother Jetzy Bardales, his sister Loretta Winter and her significant other Shawn Walton along with their two children Ryan Lee Walton and Colton James Walton, grandmother Ruth Ann Simon, grandfather Raymond Paul Thompson, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with many close friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 5-8pm at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home Chapel, 3919 Garth Rd. Baytown, TX 77521. Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 10am at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sterling White Cemetery, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, TX 77562.

I am so sorry for your loss our loving God promises to give you the strength to cope with the pain of your loss. He also promises to hold your hand every step of the way. Please take comfort that he does care at Isaiah 63:9 and Jeremiah 29:11,12.
