Raymond A. Villemure, 75, of Goffstown, died November 7, 2017 at the Catholic Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Manchester on July 25, 1942, he was the son of Theophile and Lillian (Gilibert) Villemure. He graduated from St. Marie High School and attended New Hampshire College. Prior to retirement, he had been employed as a meat salesman for many years. In addition, he had also worked for many years at St. Anselm College. Raymond will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his love of animals, his passion for gardening and the time he donated to coaching and managing at Manchester South Little League. Above all else, he will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by all, especially his grandchildren who lovingly called him "Pepere" or "Pepsi". Family members include his wife of 52 years, Rita S. Villemure of Goffstown; his children, Christine Hemeon and husband David of Hill, NH, James Villemure and wife Tammy of Manchester; his grandchildren, Meagan, David , Zachary and Jennifer Hemeon, Bryan, Felicia and Alexis Villemure; two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Lucas Tardiff; his sisters, Sr. Rita Villemure of Manchester, Lorraine Perkins of Manchester; sister-in-law, Kay Simpson of Goffstown. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Monday, November 13, 2017 in St. Lawrence Church, Goffstown. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. Donations may be made in his memory to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive, Suite 110, Bedford, NH 03110.
