Raymond Woods Obituary
BURLINGTON - Mr. Raymond Woods, 81, 5605 Byrd Road, passed away Thurs., Feb. 4, 2010, at Durham VA Hospital.
A native of Alamance County, Mr. Woods was the son of Charlie R. Woods and Mable Vincent Woods, both deceased, and the husband of Wilhelmena R. Woods, who survives.
In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by a son, Charlie B. Woods (Cynthia) of Burlington; two daughters, Helen Woods and Katrina Woods Wright (Keith), both of Burlington; two brothers, James Woods (Sarah) of Burlington and Clyde Woods (Carlene) of Mebane; two sisters, Helen Williamson (Leurco) and Katrina Crisp, both of Burlington; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Hester's Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Snow Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church, with the family arriving at 1:30 p.m. and at all other times at the home. Public viewing will be held Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, from 1 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Alamance Funeral Service is entrusted with arrangements.
